WSMA Lauches ‘Know Your Choices’ Campaign

Good Medicine Also Includes Knowing What Shouldn’t be Done…

…Was the headline on an op-ed from WSMA President Dr. Nick Rajacich in Friday’sNews Tribune. Earned media – such as the op-ed – is integral to our Know Your Choices-Ask Your Doctor Campaign. The campaign is educating physicians and giving patients the tools they need to make informed choices about their health care, whether it’s avoiding a CT scan for a headache, understanding their choices other than the emergency room when unexpected care is needed, or making informed end of life choices. The goal: foster the doctor/patient relationship and encourage meaningful discourse about health care choices, which ultimately can lead to better, safer care.
